Written Harassment Policies Required by New DFEH Rule

Effective April 1, 2016 California employers are now required to have written policies to address workplace harassment, discrimination and retaliation under new Fair Employment and Housing Council regulations. These regulations require employers with five or more employees to have written policies against unlawful harassment, discrimination, and retaliation in the workplace meeting certain requirements.
