New California Heat Illness Regulations and Rulemaking Effective May 1, 2015

The Office of Administrative Law has approved the California Occupational Safety & Health Standards Board’s proposed amendments to California’s current heat illness regulation.  The amended regulations will go into effect on May 1, 2015, in time for 2015 growing season and warmer weather.


Almost every aspect of the regulations (shade, water, high heat regulations, emergency response procedures, acclimatization, training and heat illness prevention plans) have changed in some respect. Please download the file below for further details.
