This meeting allows attendees to raise our questions and concerns with DOL regarding the various compliance issues they enforce, in particular, the Migrant & Seasonal Worker Act (MSPA). DOL representatives will provide a short presentation, then open the floor to discussion and question and answers on issues ranging from:

– Worker Transportation
– Worker Housing
– H2A Visas
– New Federal Guidelines on Exempt Employee Salaries and Overtime
– Worker Notification Requirements

Yes, it’s tough enough to deal with our state agencies such as Cal OSHA, Labor Commissioner, Ag Commissioner, etc.  But you also need to understand the federal requirements and enforcement focus, this is that opportunity.
