PAYROLL MASTERS WELCOMES MARKETING INTERN SAMUEL WHITE

Napa, CA July 14, 2009 for seven weeks this summer Payroll Masters welcomes Samuel White a 2009 graduate of Vintage High School as Marketing Intern.  While working at Payroll Masters Samuel’s tasks will include designing and creating emails, managing social marketing posts to the company’s Facebook and Twitter pages, and many design based tasks.

Payroll Masters found Samuel through a program called V.O.I.C.E.S, which is supported by the non-profit agency On the Move. Many youth from this program are encouraged to apply for internships with The Explorations Career Center another program through On the Move.

Samuel’s passion has always been art, and his dream is to be a graphic designer. He plans to attend The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in the fall of 2010, and is currently attending the Napa Junior College.

On the Move

· The Explorations Career Center is a program through Napa’s nonprofit On the Move, providing job readiness training, career exploration and educational placement for youth from all backgrounds. The center was awarded a grant from the Napa County Workforce Investment Board to operate the youth-managed Summer C.R.U.I.S.E. program, Creating Relationships Using Intergenerational Summer Employment. The program provides job skill training and internship placements for 50 high-risk youth ages 17-24.
