PAYROLL MASTERS ANNOUNCES SHARON TIBURZI RECEIVED HER FUNDAMENTAL PAYROLL CERTIFICATION (FPC)
Napa, CA – April 21, 2009 Sharon Tiburzi earns her Fundamental Payroll Certification. The Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is earned by passing the FPC Exam administered by The American Payroll Association (APA). The APA is a professional association for payroll professionals. The FPC exam covers comprehensive payroll fundamentals including: operations, paycheck calculations, employment tax reporting, employee benefits, involuntary and voluntary deductions, accounting, Fair Labor Standards Act, forms, compliance, professional payroll skills and responsibilities, General Ledger account balance and auditing.

Sharon rejoined Payroll Masters in January as a Payroll Tax Specialist after a brief employment with Napa County. She first worked for Payroll Masters from September 2006 through May 2008, during which time she earned her Associates Degree in Business with a concentration in accounting in 2007 from the Napa Valley College. Before studying payroll she was a pastry chef. She is married with 2 children and lives in Napa, her husband Tom Tiburzi is the winemaker for Domaine Chandon.
