2008 - Payroll Masters celebrates its 20th year in business.

2008 - Payroll Masters receives Green Certification from Bay Area Green Business Program (ABAG) and Napa County on June 3, 2008. Payroll Masters is one of just 22 businesses in Napa County thus far that have been Green Certified. Businesses must demonstrate a commitment to conserving water and energy, reducing waste and preventing pollution to become certified. All of these practices lead to CO2 emissions reductions. 2007 - Payroll Masters announces the completion of a 69 kW roof-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) powered energy system at their headquarters in Napa. This is enough energy to provide power for 24 average sized homes, equivalent to removing 13 passenger cars off the road, or preventing 135 barrels of oil from being burned each year. It offsets 127,800 lbs. of carbon dioxide (CO2), to remove this much CO2 from the atmosphere it requires absorption from 158 acres of rainforest.

With the solar power generated Payroll Masters expects to save the building $18,000 a year offsetting roughly 75% of the meter's annual energy needs. Part of California's Net Energy Metering program provides for the excess solar electricity to be sold back to the grid during the many hot, sunny days, and then uses accumulated credits at night and in rainy periods.

2006 - Payroll Masters introduces it's Time and Attendance Solution - TODD this electronic Time Optimizing Data Device is an advanced time clock that simply connects to a telephone line and can be mounted on a wall. Employees clock in and out on TODD by swiping their personal electronic time card or manually entering their employee ID number. Securely, each night, TODD automatically transmits the day’s activity.
