New Bus Service and Enhanced Ferry Service between Vallejo and San Francisco
Designed to help fill the void of losing WETA’s Route 200 for Late Night Trips
Solano County Transit (SolTrans), in partnership with the Solano Transportation Authority (countywide planning agency that is funding the service with Regional Measure 2 bridge toll funding), is implementing a new Solano Express commuter bus line, Route 82, effective January 2, 2017.
Route 82 will complement enhanced ferry service that the Water Emergency Transportation Agency (WETA) is implementing on January 1, 2017 for their customers traveling between Vallejo and San Francisco. The increased number of ferry trips will replace Route 200 bus service on weekdays, except for the latest trips of the night. Route 82 will offer an alternate solution and meet the needs of customers who utilize those last trips of the day and need a direct ride between Vallejo and San Francisco. The Adult Fare for a one-way trip will be $10.00.
For all updated pickup and drop-off times and locations as well as complete fare information, visit www.SolTransRide.com or call (707) 648-4666.
