Farm Supervisor Boot Camp – June 28 – Napa Elks Lodge
On June 28, at the Napa Elks Lodge, CFLCA will partner with the Napa County Farm Bureau to conduct a Supervisor Boot Camp IN SPANISH to provide front line supervisory staff (mayordomos, crewleaders, supervisors) with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage and protect our labor force.
The program will cover the basic roles and responsibilities of front line supervisors; effective/positive communications; Cal OSHA compliance (including Heat Illness and Night Work issues); Reporting Accidents-Incidents; California Wage & Hour – US DOL MSPA compliance; and, controlling access to fields.
This will be a great opportunity to prepare new supervisory staff for the upcoming Harvest Season, and to provide updates for experienced supervisory staff.
