Napa Hosts Business Tax Credit Workshop – December 8

On Tuesday December 8, 2015 the City of Napa, in cooperation with the Napa and Sonoma Small Business Development Centers, will host a “California Competes” workshop about business tax credits available from the State of California.

The California Competes Tax Credit is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in California.

Small, medium, and large businesses are encouraged to attend the workshop and receive instructions on how to apply for this tax credit program.

The California Competes Program has approximately $200 million in tax credits available during the 2015-16 fiscal year for businesses that want to expand in or relocate to California.  The next application period begins January 4, 2016.

The workshop will be presented by representatives of the Governor’s Office of Business & Economic Development (GO-Biz).

Time: 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Periodically, GO-Biz hosts workshops and/or webinars about the California Competes Tax Credit program. Each workshop or webinar consists of a 45-minute presentation, followed by a question and answer session, visit website to view workshops.
