Warm Brown Sugar, Spiced Pineapple, Banana and Sausage Salad
- 2 packages (12 ounce) uncooked or frozen sausage links (turkey, beef, or pork)
- 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 medium bananas, sliced
Cut each sausage link into bite size pieces. In a large skillet, cook and brown sausage according to package directions; drain grease. Drain half of the juice from the pineapple and add it to the pan along with the sausage, brown sugar and cinnamon; stir to dissolve brown sugar and heat through. Keep warm in crockpot on low. Stir in banana just before serving.
