#9. What are you escalation procedures when I have a problem with my payroll?

It doesn’t happen often with any company, but it’s more likely to be a serious problem if there aren’t pre-defined procedures in place for escalation of a problem to get it resolved as quickly as possible when you have one. Find out if they have procedures and at least get a summary of them before you decide.

How does Payroll Masters™ compare to others on this question?

When you become a client with Payroll Masters™ you get a written Service Level Agreement. This document sets the standard for how you obtain service, beginning with an assigned payroll processor. If you are unable to get the service you need from that person, or if that person is unavailable you will have a clear path to reach other service personnel in the company until you are able to get your issue resolved. This document also helps you understand what is required from you and what you can expect from us to make the conversion to Payroll Masters™ as smooth as possible. We know that conversions are the most timeconsuming part of engaging with a new payroll service. After conversion you will be able to reach the same payroll processor every time you call for assistance unless that person is away from the office.
